Brooke White Performs at the Office
Today we had another visitor, Brooke White, come to the office to perform. She was in to promote her new album: High Hopes and Heartbreak.
I must admit, I'd never heard of her before. I hear she's an American Idol superstar. I'm afraid I never watch the show...
We have a pretty minimal setup in our basement for performances. She played acoustic guitar with no back-up (the no back-up is pretty rare for performers) The songs she played for us were: "Radio Radio" and "Hold Up My Heart". I really enjoyed both.
Since then, I've gone back to listen to the produced tracks, I have to admit liking the simplified acoustic version more.
Of course, I had to grab the obligatory photo ;-)
